Talk to the parents ahead of time, and find out which sporting team he likes. Then I would purchase a baseball hat and a T-Shirt from the team he likes. Total cost would be around $25.00. I also would get his favorite sports ball, a basketball, football, soccer ball, or baseball. One of these items would cost between $8-$25. Then head over to a drug store, or sports memorabilia shop. At these establishments, one can buy sporting cards, such baseball or football trading cards. These card packs will the child something to open, as part of the gift basket. Each of these packs of cards will cost between $1.50 and $2.00. Also these stores are great places to get sporting books and magazines. This will give the child something to read while they are getting better. Thoughtful gifts that are put together with the child in mind will be greatly received. Assemble the gift basket with the above items. Have the largest item in the middle, which would be the ball, and hat. Put the trading cards around these items. Lay the team shirt at the base of the gift basket. The last touch will be adding the crepe paper and bow.

There is so much of a variety in Halloween candy, it would be hard for you not to find something. Don’t forget to get some non-traditional Hallowen candy if you know the recipient likes it.
